- Updated my site, added a Free Mumia graphic and joined two more webrings, the Brian Deneke Memorial webring and the Teen Anarchist webring. Miscellaneous code errors fixed too.

- I replied by email to the accusations of "libel" from Focus Adolescent Services. Despite persistent letters of reminder, I have recieved no reply. It seems they are not as interested in this "libel" case as they initially claimed to be.

- After putting up the main page, I went back and made sure all the back issues linked up with everything else, and changed all the emails around from the old one to the new one, jrussell@wnec.edu

- After months of delay (is there a pattern here? :-) , Free Youth Issue #3 is up for the first quarter of 2000! More articles will be appended to this issue soon. Redirected emails to my school account at jrussell@wnec.edu.

- I delivered a speech on child labor at Amherst Anti-WTO Rally.

- Did the first update of Free Youth in a long time, editing some spelling and grammatical errors and
updating the HTML. The new issue should be coming out soon. Automatically redirected
emails sent to Free youth's former address at freeyouth@apexmail.com to the new
address at Oblivion, fyi@oblivion.net.

- A section of Free Youth's article on the Juvenile Justice Bill was quoted in the
most recent issue of the Freedom Voice, a youth rights newspaper from NCRA-YLA.

- Added more songs to the lyrics archive.

- Fixed the two broken links to articles.
Added a FREE KEVIN link to the
main page.

- After weeks of delays the second issue of Free Youth Internet is out!
Issue #1 was moved to a "back issues" archive. More lyrics added as well.
HitBox has been removed - this is now a Cookies-free site. Editing was done
to fix spelling and factual errors on back articles from issue one.

- Posted FYI's URL to relevant usenet discussion groups and listserv's
- 06/22/99
- Added yet more links and activated the webring, fixed the error
in the lyrics links. FYI's hit count is growing, thanks to everyone
who has visited

- FYI joined the National Youth Rights Alliance
webring. Fixed some obnoxious typos and layout errors, as well as dead links.

- Completely transferred all the files to the Oblivion server, and placed a redirect
at FYI's former location.

- The zine Oblivion is going to be hosting
FYI on it's server! The new URL will be
http://www.oblivion.net/fyi
The FYI introduction and FAQ were also added,
as well as an editorial about the new Juvenile Justice bill.

- Posted my URL to many search engines
- 06/06/99
- Submitted my page to the Internet Zine archive as well as other activists
and youth rights organizations. Publicized it at the IAC
march for peace. I added some new links as well as graphics
"courtesy" of ASI.

- New title graphic and Javascript applets, edited the cover story. All the lyrics
are now referenced in an archive. I started a new email account for FreeYouth
at Apexmail, and can now be contacted
at FreeYouth@apexmail.com. I updated
the :mailto links on all the pages
